Languages
Knowledge does not belong to one language.
IgiraPress is being built for multilingual publishing contexts, careful translation boundaries, and broader access to knowledge systems.
Current status
Public language commitments are currently framed as mission and roadmap unless a specific interface, metadata, manuscript translation, or publication support workflow is deployed and smoke-tested.
Language access
Language support should distinguish interface translation, manuscript translation, metadata translation, editorial review, and publication support.
Human review
Machine translation, if used, may require human review. IgiraPress should not claim certified translation unless that service is legally, operationally, and contractually established.
Cultural sovereignty
Multilingual infrastructure must respect local knowledge systems and community authority. IgiraPress should avoid claiming cultural expertise for communities without evidence, partnership, or accountable review.
